PROMAR 200 Diesel storage

At the end of the season, winterizing a boat and performing annual engine maintenance is synonymous with protecting your investment. Otherwise, when spring comes, sailing again can be quite expensive. It is also advisable to fill the fuel tanks to the maximum, to minimize evaporation and avoid condensation as much as possible. This is the time to add fuel stabilizer and prevent bacteria from degrading the fuel during wintering and causing breakdowns in the system.

PROMAR 200 will provide continuous protection against microbiological activity in all types of fuels, including biofuels. It is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi and mold. Its long-lasting action protects the fuel against long periods of exposure to infections.

PROMAR 200 is a biocide formulated together with a stabilizer/dispersant whose action inhibits bacterial growth, the proliferation of all types of microorganisms, improves fuel filterability, disperses dead biomass avoiding its accumulation in filters and prevents fuel oxidation.

PROMAR 200 significantly contributes to improving the stability during storage of all types of fuels, including biofuels (B100) and blends (Bxx).

PROMAR 200 does not release corrosive by-products into the fuel.

PROMAR 200 contributes to reducing additional costs related to the maintenance of the facilities, helping to prevent operational failures resulting from the activity and proliferation of microorganisms.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE

It is recommended to add PROMAR 200 before refuelling by direct addition to the tank.

Add PROMAR 200 to the tank before winterising to facilitate the distribution of the treatment throughout the system.

In case of very high contamination, it is advisable to filter the fuel 24 to 72 hours after starting the treatment.
