PROMAR 85 Biocide diesel

Biomass formed in fuels by uncontrolled growth of bacteria, yeasts and fungi can cause considerable damage to:

PRODUCT PROPERTIES

• PROMAR 85 will provide continuous protection against microbiological activity in all fuels, including biofuels.
• PROMAR 85 is especially effective against sulphate-reducing bacteria, inhibiting their action, reducing the amount of biomass formed and improving the filterability of the fuel.
• PROMAR 85 can be used in highly contaminated systems to eliminate the microorganisms present.
• PROMAR 85 is soluble in water and in the fuel and/or combustible, protecting both phases, their interface and any surface in contact with them.
• PROMAR 85 helps prevent fuel system failures resulting from microbiological activity and the proliferation of microorganisms.
• Treatment with PROMAR 85 together with the introduction of appropriate prevention measures helps reduce maintenance-related costs.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE

As with any disease, it is important to anticipate and detect it as soon as possible. Filter blockages are an important warning, indicating the presence of bacteria.

To add to your vehicle, it is recommended to add it before refuelling by adding it directly to the tank.

During the fuel treatment process with PROMAR 85, dead organisms can clog the fuel filter and it may require changing it.

Start a shock treatment for 3 deposits at the following doses:

• 1st deposit: 2L of PROMAR 85 for every 1000L of fuel.
• 2nd and 3rd deposit: 1L of PROMAR 85 for every 1000L of fuel.
